ONE NIGERIA; AN ILLUSION?

Nigerian government class:
"In the 1700s, the British came to West Africa and started having settlements then they started trading with the Africans they met there, then they suddenly needed people to help them in their own lands overseas and suddenly suddenly they became wicked and started the slave trade and colonised Nigerians, then brave people like Tafawa Balewa, Nmandi Azikwe stood up and fought for the nation Nigeria and now we are free and independent...end of government class!!"
Urhmmm....I don't think so!
So can I ask? What is your identity? What's your nationality?
What have you been taught about Nigeria? Is your knowledge of Nigeria only prior to the 1960s? What was Nigeria like before the colonial masters came? Were we all living as one nation? Was Nigeria even in existence from the beginning? I thought as much, you are not quite sure...
You go to schools and religious places and they all talk about "one Nigeria", they tell us to embrace her whole-heartedly, you see soldiers fighting and laying their lives for the green white and green flag...
So back to the question, what was Nigeria like prior to British colonialism? The truth is, NIGERIA WAS NON-EXISTENT! There was a Yoruba country which consisted of the Ijebus, the Egbas, etc which had their head in the North of the Yoruba nation, what is now known as Oyo, they were a very powerful nation, they were able to colonise Dahomey; what is now known as Bene Republic for about 100 years!! They later lost their power due to greed, envy and disunity between the Oba Abiodun and the Bashorun which made the empire and weak and were subsequently swept aside by the Islamic Jihadists, the Yoruba nation has been divided ever since...
The Igbos occupied the East and never really had a central King, they were ruled by elders and chiefs, each village was more like a republic and were sovereign states, they were very united and loved their brothers.
The Hausas and Fulanis were mostly pagans and normards(they usually worshipped some spirits called bori, they are now rare), Islam had been on at that time, only practiced by few not until Usman Dan Fodio and his thugs imposed Islam on them in the 19th century.
The Hausas and Yorubas traded together but never lived together...the three tribes never lived together! There was no major enmity between them but they simply did not live together.
So you might ask, if we were never living together, how come we are now bound together? Now let's briefly look into the British rule, I believe we all know Lord Lugard, huh? He was the one responsible for the amalgamation. So why exactly did he amalgamate Nigeria? He did that for the interests of the British government! It was all a design...at that time, the British needed a railway from the North to the Coast for the British interests, so amalgamation of the North and South became crucial, that was the first step towards the amalgamation, it was finally achieved in 1914, note that it was done without the consent of the people. Even the Late "legendary" Harold Smith, a Conservative Party Politician in the UK who; lest you forget, rigged Nigeria's first election, manipulated the population of the North...confessed:
“Our agenda was to completely exploit Africa. Nigeria was my duty post. When we assessed Nigeria, this was what we found in the southern region; strength, intelligence, determination to succeed, well established history, complex but focused life style, great hope and aspirations… the East is good in business and technology, the west is good in administration and commerce, law and medicine, but it was a pity we planned our agenda to give power 'at all cost' to the northerner. They seemed to be submissive and silly of a kind. Our mission was accomplished by destroying the opposition at all fronts."
The census Harold Smith held were a big hoax, the cattle were counted as humans and this was used to get a majority vote over the South, the Southerners were more than the Northerners! Even the Westerners; the Yorubas were more! The Northerners were also heavily encouraged to join the military, remember they were mostly uneducated, while the Southerners were educating themselves, the Northerners were militarising themselves, it was believed that the future leaders of Nigeria will come from a military background, we can now look at the leaders we've had in Nigeria, isn't it pointblank that most of them have military background? They were mostly favoured in the Civil service and the military. Their traditional leaders were given super-powers, all was just to give the North dominance, those guys have always been loyal to the British, Harold said it all, the British themselves never loved us, same as the Northerners.
So why exactly do the Northerners remain loyal to the British when they are really not getting anything beneficial? The answer is ignorance! The Hausas and Fulanis with all the respect I got for them do not value education, a 10 year old Yoruba street hawker in Lagos is far more educated than a 30 year old man in the North of Nigeria, religion has blinded their sense of reasoning, that's why they'll kill a human who allegedly "blasphemes" against their Allah, they don't even have any interests in education, that's why you see them getting married to child brides, thereby rusticating the future of the child to their small houses, an average Fulani is ready to shed blood at any moment but is never willing to think and reflect, their leaders? Just power-drunken! That's why Lord Lugard and the British Protectorate never really allowed interactions between the Northerners and Southerners because the Southerners were more educated and it would be a threat for the Fulanis/Hausa to become knowledgeable....and that's why they were encouraged to join the military instead!! I know now you are connecting the dots... they have been so stupid not to realise their people are suffering and dying of starvation daily, they have been so stupid that they do not have proper education, they were never smart enough to realise that they've never really benefited from the British, they can only boasts of a biased BBC Hausa and military support, no brilliance at all!
The Northerners couldn't think for themselves to realise that the first coup which happened in 1996 wasn't really a Igbo coup, the Igbos killed their own too. Their response to the coup, what they called a counter-coup was not only to kill Gen Ironsi and overthrow his government but to kill in thousands the Igbos living in the North, the Emirs incited the youths to fight a "holy" War just like what Usman Dan Fodio did in the 17th century, the British themselves who never loved Nigerians especially the Igbos incited the Fulani youths in the universities to join in the riot to kill the Igbos! Yea they will never let you know this. The Igbos suffered for the ignorance of their fellow Fulani Nigerians! The Igbos have suffered a lot physically but the Fulanis are suffering mentally which is the height of suffering and enslavery.
Speaking about slavery, the Northerners along with some Westerners are only House slaves to the British, the Igbos are the major field slaves who desperately want to be free but are forced not to... they are like Israelites enslaved in Egypt the Bible talks of(forgive me for the religiousness), that's why they were never allowed to secede when they wanted to. Ojukwu might have liberated them maybe if he were not power thirsty and greedy and accepted Nzeogwu's Confederation idea. He was so greedy that he never listened to any advice and any form of pessimism was taken has rebellion to him. He made the world think the Biafran soldiers were fully ready for battle, when in actual fact they were incapacitated, out-numbered, outmatched, dying of starvation and recruiting young boys into the Biafran army, though I give them credit for their independency, they made their own weapons and shocked the world with their own improvised bombs, armoured vehicles and rockets, they might have even won the war if not for the British, Russia's and Egypt's assistance of Nigeria.
When the war was declared, it was nothing more than a threat to the British, it meant no more exploiting of the Nigerian Oil, no more control of Nigeria through the Fulanis, it meant real independence to them and they feared that. Nigeria was meant to be just like the UK, with the North which was like England that controlled everything, the West like Ireland, the East like Wales, the South South like Scotland, which had the oil, where anyone from Wales or Scotland could br the leader but his people still held in bondage. The British knew the three tribes never had any related historical background but they merged them together. They assisted in launching air raids against the Biafrans who were worshipping in churches and market places, the Nigerian government also engaged in cowardly strategies like starving off the innocent Biafrans and blowing up Red Cross planes who wanted to supply food and basic amenities to the Biafrans, the British used House slaves like Obasanjo, Buhari, Adekunle "Black scorpion", Gowon and the rest to carry out the genocide, I don't know where Obasanjo kept his brain that he couldn't realise that he was killing his own people, the people with the same black skin as his, the said Nigerians, I don't know what Gowon was thinking when he endorsed the cowardly strategy to winning the war. Mental slavery!!
Fast forward till today, you still see the same thing playing out again, Buhari is the one in power now, continuing from where Usman Dan Fodio stopped, killing Biafrans who have now resigned to harmless protest and crybaby strategy to secession, they are being killed daily by mental slaves called "Jihadists" and are now crying to the UN for succession, the same people who do not want them to leave. Nmandi Kanu is held in custody by the EFCC despite reaching bail terms, Fani Kayode is still in custody, not to even talk about Buhari putting on a military uniform recently lol and the plot to Islamize this nation, things are getting really crazy...
In spite of everything, I Adesanya Marvellous can see a bright future, I see the rising sun, all over the world I see thousands of melanated brothers waking up, the Biafrans only need to drop their crybaby strategy and begin a real revolution!
I see the future!
